This year's theme: Building film websites
How do you build a website for a film? Is building a site for the film
maker a better idea? Maybe for the production company? Does every film need a
site?
These questions and others will be answered in the 2010 Doc dot.com, the
workshop that was successfully inaugurated in the 2009 Docaviv Festival.
Among the subjects to be discussed:
-
A correct structure of a film
website.
-
Choosing a platform for storage
and set-up.
-
Methods of drawing visitors to the
site.
-
The site as a springboard to
promote invitations to lectures and festivals.
-
Utilizing the site to sell or
promote the film to the wide audience.
All this and more, in an hour and a half long lecture, including many
examples.
Lecturers: Yoram Sheffer and Kobi Shelly
Friday 14.5.10, 10:30-12:00
Participation is free of charge; places must be booked in advance.
