Following a break-up, a single mother and her only daughter takes refuge in a small hotel in Tel Aviv. In an attempt to pick up the pieces, a fragile relationship is revealed between the daughter hiding behind the camera and the mother’s efforts to reassemble herself and start over.

Director: Ayala Berger

Ayala Berger was born in 1995 in Netanya and grew up in Tzoran.
Student at the photography department at Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem.
Her work fuses filmmaking and photography. combining between directing and storytelling to aesthetics and personal observing- in moving and stills images as one.
“Nothing Is Always” is her first film.
