Italy / Switzerland 2019, 12 min, No Dialogue

Seen from outside, it looks like a fairytale castle, but the children who come to visit their parents in San Vittore prison in Milan quickly see it for what it is. The prison guards search their bodies, their shoes, their toys. The children’s confusing, difficult reality emerges in full force from their drawings.
