‘Meet Me in the Bathroom’s directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace have a solid history making of music films, beginning with the Grammy and Grierson nominated ‘No Distance Left to Run’ about British band Blur.
They followed this with the seminal LCD Soundsystem documentary ‘Shut Up and Play the Hits’ which premiered at Sundance and played to rapturous audiences theatrically in 2012. The film regularly appears in lists of ‘The greatest music documentaries of all time’ (Rolling Stone, NME, The Guardian).
The directing duo started out in the world of music videos working with artists including Bjork, Jack White, The Fall, Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys.
