Mudi and his mother live in complete isolation on a tiny Indonesian island, waiting for boats to bring tourists and provide a modest income. She is practical and pragmatic; he inhabits a magical world of dance where he can converse with spirits. Despite frequent arguments, they find a unique means of communication through the wonders of music and dance.

Karolina Karwan. Photographer, filmmaker, traveller and tantra facilitator. She graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava and Faculty of Archaeology at Warsaw University. She is a laureate of the Darmasiswa scholarship, during which she studied music and traditional dance at the Indonesian Institute of Arts in Yogyakarta.

Tomasz Ratter has a degree in visual anthropology (Warsaw University) and photography (ICP in Opava). His photographic works were exhibited in Poland, Berlin, Prague, Bratislava, Oxford. Director of short films and videoclips. He lived 2 years in Indonesia, working on photography and film projects, studying Indonesian language and traditional art.
