Ireland 2022, 89 min, English, Hebrew subtitles

With Brexit redrawing long erased borders, filmmakers Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor are wondering if, maybe, after about thirty years of living and making films in the UK, it is time to return to Ireland, their homeland. On a flight from London to Dublin—on their way to look for filming locations for a new film—they examine the concepts of home, nationalism, identity, belonging, language, and otherness in a political and personal context. The film—which drifts between their shared workspace and the landscapes of Ireland, between a practical weighing of immigration and settlement options and memories of relationships, aging, mental illness, and homesickness—tells a multilayered family story, which is really the story of Ireland and all immigrant nations.
