United States 2023, 90 min, English, Hebrew subtitles

He was the king of comedy, a sharp-witted philosopher, a genius whose brutal insights became a compass that steered an entire generation worldwide—until 2017, when, following public allegations of repeated sexual misconduct, he confessed and expressed his remorse. But is Louis C.K.’s acknowledgment of the wrongs he had committed enough? The thorough investigation that unfolds in this film tells the story differently: He was a gifted and manipulative comedian whose deplorable deeds had been known in the industry for years, yet everyone preferred to keep quiet and carry on laughing. Then, when cancel culture came calling, his comeback move was as brilliant as it was ruthless.
